Books I read in May

1. Glass Hearts - round 1
2. Losing Me, Finding You by C.M. Stunich
3. Paris Love Match by Nigel Blackwell
4. Beautifully Twisted by Jennifer Domenico
5. Racing For Freedom by Bec Botefuhr
6. Strings (Hard Rock Harlots) by Kendall Grey
7. One night with her best friend
short read. But decent. And well edited. The title tells you exactly what the story is about. But even knowing how this would end, it doesn't even spoil the reading experience. This is a short, nice read.

If you're in a mood for something nice and quick. This book is it.

8. Reread Scornfully Yours (Torn Series) by Pamela Ann
9. Arsen - round 1

Strings (Hard Rock Harlots) by Kendall Grey

Strings

"Holy anal mishaps, Batman. My head is dizzified..." - that's me after reading this book.

Lucky Letty meets Shades! This book is hilarious. SO FUNNY. raw. but hot.
There's a few times I had to flip back ever the page I read. Like what the eff did she/he just said?

The author is so brilliant! She's creative. She's good with words.
She must have got about a bit over a thousand different ways to call his *** and her ***.

If you wanna read HOT FUNNY sex, I highly recommend Strings!! But, be warned... you might have a momentary lapse in vaginal secretion control. Or a nipple ejaculation or two. So like what the author suggested: readers are strongly advised to wear latex gloves whilst reading to minimize contamination risks!!! Lmfao. Good luck! Enjoy!

Paris Love Match by Nigel Blackwell

Paris Love Match
Paris Love Match was a funny, witty, crazy, lovely, fast paced action read. :)

The main action part had a span of about two days. And all about coincidence. Piers was an English engineer. He was in Paris to update the software of a construction site. Sydney was, well according to Piers, "maddening, infuriating, moody, yet exciting, vibrant, thrilling. She was cool and fashionable and worldly."

All started because he went in the taxi. She went in his taxi. And Augustus, the guy who stole the painting jumped in their taxi.

I love Paris. So it's fun reading about its landmarks being mentioned, the roads, the river, the bridges, and how they connect.

I could almost like Sydney. But not completely. I felt she's unreal sometimes. But as unreal as it is, I like Little and Large, they add the cute factor to the story. And I love how nice Piers is. He's very practical and thoughtful. At the end of the day, it's James Bond who saved the girl. And yeah, fell in love at first sight.

And now I have to ask this question ... Where are the diamonds, Nigel????!

Beautifully Twisted by Jennifer Domenico

Beautifully Twisted
This book was gifted to me by Nancy Godinez via Triple M. I wrote the review after I finished it. But before I posted it I had a moment of hesitation. The book has got a straight 5 stars from all 13 reviews. And that will make me a first to mentioned something negative about it. But after talking to some friends and an author I know... they think a productive negativity is ok. Well, I'm not sure this is productive, but at least I can guarantee it's honest.

Scotty and Lexi have a history. He's her hot sexy boss. And she slept her way up to the big position.

The story is erotica so there are a lot of hot sex scenes. But I wish there was more. More descriptive? More narrative? The dialogues were dialogues indeed. No emotional description. No bother. Just "....", follow with "..."

Sex? Umm... Sex's hot. But it could definitely be hotter and more believable. There are times I cringed while reading.

Being exposed in the car?In the traffic? At the traffic light stop? In the middle of London? With her skirt all the way up to her hip and fully exposed? On the hot hood after driving and in the parking garage with security camera? I find it a little hard to believe.

The whole switching between being submissive and dominant thing?! I have no experience and though the author tries to give the reason to support it, maybe I'm wrong but I didn't buy it.

Pussy eating? I know getting it licked is nice. But I personally think it's too much. Yeah, I said it.. hard to believe someone says too much good things are too much, right? But that's what I felt in this story. And getting one from your masseur? Seriously???!

Lastly but sadly, there are typos. Here and there.

Racing For Freedom

Racing For Freedom
Melissa Diamond gifted me this book.
"This book IS NOT a cliffhanger, it is a stand alone with a HEA." - that sentence did it for me.

I've read books from Bec before and I love them. Picked up the book before I went to bed.... Its fast pace kept me interested and ended up finishing the book in one sitting, at half past three....

Well done Author Bec ♥ It proves you can write a non-erotica romance too. Dash and Slade are so cute together. Love the tension, love the chemistry. I cried at Chapter 5.. The story started with a problem because they didn't talk to each other. Maybe they wanted to.. but after reading, you'd understand that they couldn't. And after they talked, oh I love it. He's f**ked up, but he was so ready to fix it.
Though I wouldn't mind if their sex will be a bit more heavy. Or a lot more heavy. Or... You know. Full on erotica again.. Lol. Sex with Slade... Hmmm... Absolutely not complaining. ♥

Slade ♥

Losing Me, Finding You by C.M. Stunich

Losing Me, Finding You
Thank you CM!! This is such a treat. You're so nice and so talented you merely grab our names and twist them just a little we still know who's who and put them nicely in the book. Because we all wanted a hot motorcycle read, you just deliver. :)

It's so nice and a cute change. It's an added unusual exciting experience to wait and see who's coming up next. And I'm so glad my name was also part of it. And every single times (two to be exact) it's Austin himself who thought about me. Yay!! Thank you.

Amy - Amy represents soooo many of us romance novel readers. And she's so funny she compares things to her book and heroes and heroines all the time (just like we all do!). But I gotta say the girl's got guts! It's gonna be hard not giving her respect after reading this.
She's looking for "change and freedom and passion and some of that heart-stopping angst that's always in the books." And Amy's lucky she's so getting it.

Austin - **happy sigh** Austin's soooooooo sweet. Such a sweet sweet biker in his own way. He's tough. But he's sweet. Must be difficult but CM made the combination perfectly possible.

I find the first 40% of the book a little hard to follow. Everything is everywhere. But hey, the last 60% was sooooooooo good I read it all in one go. And glad I didn't give up on Austin. ;)

This book has a little bit of everything. Biker, angst, sex, swearing, back stabbing, tension, romance, mocking, and jokes. It's not hard core biker book. But you can't say it's not a biker book because it is. And it's a bit of everything else too. Too much? Yeah that's why one star is missing from my rating. :)

Love Austin, Amy, Melissa, Mireya, Kent, Jodie, Megan,
the wise Sali Bend,
Kimberly, Jen and everyone ...
How cool is it to have the book of us!!!
