If You Stay by Courtney Cole

If You Stay
The Author's note at the end of the book sums it.
This story is really about a man teetering on the edge. He could have fallen either way, into the dark or into the light. And he chose to land on his feet in the light, even though the light is harder and it takes more work. My message through this book is for anyone who is in that same place, balancing on that precarious ledge. The light is always worth it, even though it's hard. Stay strong and live in the light.

The message was so loud and clear. What I like most about this book is that these two characters talk. Yes. They talk. They communicate. He might have some trouble because he never has to try to be nice. But now he does. He's trying. And he's working hard on it. He's a bad ass and the first lines of the story proves it.

"Pax."
I can't be sure that the girl said my name. Her voice is muffled and unintelligible and hard to understand, mostly because my dick is in her mouth.
Slumping against the black leather seat of my car, I push the girl's head down further, wordlessly urging her to bury more of me in her throat.
"Don't talk," I tell her. "Just suck."

(Parts of) Book Description:

Pax Tate's a tattooed, rock-hard bad-boy with a bad attitude to match.
But he’s got his reasons.

His mother died when Pax was seven, leaving a hole in his heart filled with guilt although he doesn’t understand why. What he does know is that he and his dad are left alone and with more issues than they can count.

As Pax grew up, he tried to be the kid his father always wanted; the perfect golden boy, but it didn’t work. His dad couldn’t overcome his grief long enough to notice and Pax couldn’t keep up the impossible perfect façade.
So he slipped far, far from it.

Now, he uses drugs and women to cope with the ugliness, the black void that he doesn’t want to deal with. If he pretends that the emptiness isn’t there, then it isn’t, right?
Wrong.

And it’s never more apparent than when he meets Mila.

Sweet, beautiful Mila Hill is the fresh air to his hardened frown, the beauty to his ugly heart. He doesn’t know how to not hurt her, but he quickly realizes that he'd better figure it out because he needs her to breathe.

When memories of his mother’s death resurface from where he’s repressed them for so long, Mila is there to catch him when the guilt starts making sense. Mila is the one…the one who can save him from his broken troubled heart; from his issues, from the emptiness.

Fuck Valentine's Day by C.M. Stunich

Fuck Valentine's Day

Andi was the most funny horny virgin I've ever read. I actually laughed out loud a few times. C.M. Stunich really has great sense of humor. The conversation between Horny Andi and Rational Andi was hilarious.

"He started off with a bang, too. There was non of that sweet, romance-y stuff where you were like, tasted each other's souls or anything. He just shoved this hot, slick tongue in my mouth and started Frenching the shit out of me.
Rational Andi: Kick the bitch's ass! Who the hell does he think he is?
Horny Andi: I am feeding you cyanide first chance I get. Shut your damn mouth. This guy is HOT."

Go for it if you need to laugh. Go for it if you're looking for something light and short.
You. WON'T. REGRET..

Tasting Never (Never say Never) by C.M. Stunich

Tasting Never

I started reading Tasting Never because the girls over at Triple M Bookclub had a group read for Finding Never, which is book 2. So I thought I should start with this book.

Starting from page 1, the message was right there.. Never's life was fucked up. Both Never and Ty were fucked up. They were struggling. But at least, they knew it and they fought. They sought help. They wanted to be cured... Wanted to be loved. And fortunately enough they found each other.

The writing got me hooked. It may not be the first book I had the urge to highlight the whole page. But definitely the first that I had to put the book down just because I was too scared. I was scared for Ty. I can tell you exactly what triggered my fear. And now looking back.. I have to say CM Stunich is very smart to put that one sentence there. The ending wasn't really a cliff hanger. I'm satisfied with how it ends. But since I know book 2 is there and book 3 is coming.. With her writing style, I will definitely jump into them.
Great work!!! Definitely reading more from her. Xxx

Reaper's Property

Book description best describes the book... But nothing describes Horse's sweetness <3
Reaper's Property

Marie doesn’t need a complication like Horse. The massive, tattooed, badass biker who shows up at her brother’s house one afternoon doesn’t agree. He wants Marie on his bike and in his bed. Now.
But Marie just left her abusive jerk of an ex-husband and she’s not looking for a new man. Especially one like Horse—she doesn’t know his real name or where he lives, she’s ninety percent certain he’s a criminal and that the “business” he talks with her brother isn’t website design. She needs him out of her life, which would be a snap if he’d just stop giving her mind-blowing orgasms.
Horse is part of the Reapers Motorcycle Club, and when he wants something, he takes it. What he wants is Marie, but she’s not interested in becoming “property of”.
Then her brother steals from the club. Marie can save him by giving Horse what he wants—at home, in public, on his bike… If she’s a very, very good girl, she’ll get lots more of those orgasms only he can offer, and he’ll let her brother live.
Maybe.

"So aren't you gonna ask?"
I studied him, narrowing my eyes. I had a bad feeling about this. But the words came out of my mouth, completely beyond my control.
"So why are you called Horse?"
"'Cause I'm hung like one," he replied.

lamo!!!>.<

Marie maybe a pain in the ass sometimes... but at the end she kicked one..
Love the story.. If you haven't read it, you should read it. :)
